AirRevive completes fan coil refurbishment after guestroom renovation
AirRevive LLC, a leader in fan coil refurbishment and re-commissioning service for commercial clients, announced the completion of JW Marriott Houston’s 541 guestroom air conditioning units immediately following the property’s renovation.
If construction is a sign of a growing city, Houston is booming. Keeping up with the city’s face lift, the JW Marriott Houston recently completed a massive renovation, including remodeling the guestrooms.
Host Hotels and Resorts and JW Marriott engaged AirRevive to refurbish the 541 fan coil units.
The horizontal fan coil units are located in the ceiling which makes it difficult to reach. AirRevive technicians are trained to cut dry wall when needed in order to reach all parts and components of the unit.
No detail is missed during an AirRevive refurbishment. AirRevive refurbishment includes replacing fiber insulation with foam anti-microbial insulation, removing and reconditioning the blower assembly, proprietary coil cleaning, reconditioning condensate pan and installing new actuators and heaters as needed.
The hotel was in operation, closing floors as needed. AirRevive technicians worked closely with hotel management, the project manager and other contractors during the renovation.
Early on, AirRevive technicians and the project manager identified caked up dust and debris from the renovation on refurbished units. It was determined the renovation dust and drywall in the guestroom was getting sucked back into the units. It became clear AirRevive’s services would be the last piece of the room renovation.
The results of AirRevive refurbishment services include better indoor air quality and units that are cleaned, disinfected and run at maximum efficiency.
